A good starting point to say thanks and that we honor the sacrifices warriors and their families make for our sakes. Yesterday marked the official remembrance of the eleventh hour of the eleventh day of the eleventh month when the guns of WWI fell silent. Today, some civilians and the federal population get a day off. Those who stand watch, do not.
I heard today that Thomas Jefferson wrote that “liberty is won an inch at a time.” As true on the front lines as across the aisle.

Very lovely post with great homage to Veterans Day. One wonders at times how few know history the way you just put in writing here… Sad but a true fact and Thomas Jefferson was a wise man who had quite some fore sight.
