Mrs. E has returned to school, the children have one more week of video games and tv before the harsh realities of early mornings and bagged lunches, and I’m back in the saddle. Sort of.
The hardest part of readjusting to the “real world” is taking oneself more seriously. That, shaving regularly, wearing long trousers and shoes… . But I hope to continue refreshed and reinvigorated in the perpetual quest for an easy elegance.
Stay tuned. I’m off to get out of my dressing gown.
Chris, it looks like the Big Kahuna has taken your camera, I’ll call Gidget and see if I can get it back for you. Why is the song “See You in September” going through my head? Good to have you back.
Welcome back Chris! Hope you did had a good chance to replenish and rejuvenate body and mind for the long haul of fall and winter season. It does seem to be longer… but fun and relaxed times always pass rapidly.
Looking forward to your next posting. Enjoy Labor Day weekend.
Sincerely,
Mariette
