Brownie Points

Today, the 15th of February, is the perfect day to score some brownie points with your loved one. For those of you who aren’t familiar with the term, “brownie points” are sort of extra credit earned for an unexpected act of generosity or kindness. My suggestion is a very easy and elegant one.

After a wonderful St. Valentine’s Day, why not surprise him/her with a special delivery of flowers or gourmet coffee at the office? Start the week off with a guaranteed smile.

A word of warning, if you’ve just met, this is a very risky gesture as it is liable to cement the relationship or scare off the object of your affection.

Very thoughtful suggestion. Should work well in winning a woman over!!

I wonder if washing the kitchen floor will count?

  3. Can’t hurt. A vase of flowers nearby would be the finishing touch though.

Certainly the mark ups for Valentine Day flowers will have lapsed, so it makes sense, (and cents).
