Today is the first day of summer and it has arrived with a vengeance. 98°F (37C) and humid. It’s hot. Unlike many professionals, I don’t work or meet in over-air-conditioned environments or with the suit and tie crowd. Which means that on hazy, hot and humid days, I take a pass. But that doesn’t mean that I give in to the polo collar shirt and khakis. Pale blue (thin), starched linen shirt by Façonnable, white seersucker trousers by Ralph Lauren (tissue thin cotton!), tan and white spectator loafers by Martin Dingman, cheap Timex watch that I can sweat through and not worry about. Desperate times…
