The other night I was looking at pictures of the Hollywood elite and thought that, sartorially speaking, the media was trying to make silk purses out of sow’s ears. Then I looked at pictures of Prince William and his lovely bride Kate. They consistently look elegant and sophisticated. They are not flamboyant or decadent. Kate does not seem to feel the need to look slutty and you don’t see William with gold chains or his shirt unbuttoned to his navel. They get my vote for the most elegant and classy couple of our time.
