A Good Neighbour

“I’ve been discovered,” mused Gerald Murphy. “What does one wear?”

My neighbour and I had a nice little chat in the alleyway that divides our streets. She is a real writer and about to publish a book (stay tuned, I’m sure it will cause more than a little ripple in the blogosphere.) I offered to write about it here on Easy and Elegant Life, and Ellen was surprised to learn that I, too, author a blog. The next thing I knew, I had a request for a photo and my logo.

It’s a bit humbling to realize that you are actually the person about whom someone else is writing. Maybe one day I’ll live up to my reputation.

  1. Enjoyed the article. I was hoping you were the featured guy-in-a-skirt. You would be very elegant I am sure!

  2. What, NYC, when, I have a little something for you – besides, it would give me reason to don a skirt and retire my yoga pants….ha!
Wonderful article. I love that you are known for your easy elegance and luxe humor.

  3. Hello Chris,
I’ve just read your bio on the Skirt web site. Your head must of swelled when you read such a well written endorsement of your personal style and approch to living an easy and elegant life.
Thanks for the Cary Grant films.
    How’s the memsahib doing?
    Warmest regards, Ian from Downunder.

  4. You are definitely having an impact–thanks for making me think twice about presentation and conscious attention.
