Hello Sharon, "et à tous une bonne nuit" is the literal translation, as I'm sure you know. But I don't think that the French use that expression in the same manner, the poet was English, after all.

George, last minute changes to the menu meant that they didn't get made! Will do them for a dinner party and post the results early this new year.

I am trying to find the French expression for "and to all a good night!" Would you have it please?
Thank you. By the way, the supper and brunch menu sound lovely. Holding an open house next year?

How did your individual Wellington's turn out? We tried the same for Christmas dinner, and then ended up slightly over cooked for my taste. Thankfully, the perigueux sauce I made was phenomenal, and really saved the slightly dry beef.
